Well Christmas wasn't all it's cracked up to be this year.
but between the loud, stubborn, and drunken family members, I'd say it was just another Christmas.
My mom and brother just left for Ohio while my dad and I are left home, fending for ourselves for Christmas dinner, and there isn't a single snowflake on the ground.
In the words of Charlie Brown
"UUUUHHHHGGGGGG!!!!"
I work tomorrow, which is why my dad and I wont leave for Ohio until Tuesday, and it will be my last day until I come home for summer (yay!).
Though this Christmas season hasn't been as magical as years past, it has still been a great Christmas that I can't complain about. Not only am I around people I love and that love me, but I have also been receiving e-mails with kind words from complete and total strangers, complimenting me on on my 8tracks mixes and commenting on my blog posts. It's reassuring to hear people tell me they feel the same as I do this time of year, or that my music has helped get them get in the spirit of Christmas.
It's e-mails and comments like those that have put an extra touch of magic in Christmas this year.
